So, while I intended to go to bed early (or earlier than usual), I’ve stayed up to mess around a little more with the site (I can’t seem to settle on a theme) and read more news (okay, along with Facebook and Twitter).
I’m facing news burn-out. I’ve read so much that my mind is spinning (I may even have said that already tonight).
The article linked below is written by a former counselor to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Eliot A. Cohen. Eliot A. Cohen is the director of the Strategic Studies Program at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. I think it would be fair to believe that he is a subject matter expert. He is critical of the events of the last 8 days, but one thing stands out – he believes in the power of the American people.
And so, I wonder what Monday will bring…
