Ok, here we go… these are the people in my life. This is not a complete list, but one that grows as I ramble on in the weblog. If you haven’t shown up yet, don’t worry, you will soon…
Me, finn, Josh… this is my website
My wife. We got married on Aug 16, 2002. We don’t have any children, but we do have three cats that Katie has decided will do for now. I can’t think of anyone that I would rather spend my life with than Katie. She always brings that special sparkle to my eyes. She is a refreshing breath of air that gives meaning and pupose to my life.
My younger brother. I would say little, but Ben is a full 2 inches taller than I am. While Ben is about 5 years younger than I, he has the stature of a man that is wise beyond his years. Ben currently lives in Costa Mesa with his girlfriend, Vanessa. He recently graduated from UCSD with a degree in Political Science. He will be attending UCI this fall to persue a post-graduate degree.
Vanessa
Vanessa is the slightly odd and slightly quirky girl that Ben lives with. I’ve known Vanessa since she was in high school with Ben and have always found her cool to hang out with. She has a dry sense of humor and often laughs at her own jokes. I think she has been very good for my lil’ brother and wish them years of happiness. Vanessa is now a lawyer working for a firm in Newport Beach.
Mom
She may claim her name is actually Diane, but she’ll always be Mom to me. The woman that gave me life lives next door to me and Katie. This may sound pretty horrible to most, but it has been great for all of us. Mom has always been there to support me and has welcomed Katie into the family with open arms.
Dad? He lives in New Jersey. One of the most brilliant people I’ve ever met, but I sometimes wonder how he remembers how to tie his shoes (I seem to remember a long period of time where he wore shoes with velcro closures). His hobbies over the years have included Koi (Japanese Carp), Clocks, Strange Plants, Pipe Organs and Steam Engines. My silly Dad even wore a bow tie and looked like an absent minded professor at my wedding.
Joe is Dad’s life partner. He’s a nice guy who is a welcome addition to the family. Joe cares a lot about Dad and it is good to see that Dad has someone like Joe in his life.
The best mother-in-law a man could ever wish for. Ginger is a quite power and intellect that I have a great respect for. We always end up having interesting conversations about politics and religion over coffee and cigarrettes.
The best father-in-law in the world. I feel that Ron loves me as if I were his own son. He is a great person and friend. He has been there to help me and Katie. He is fun to hang out with and not to bad with the BBQ.
My little sister. She joined the Air Force and met the man of her dreams. Though very young, she has taken on the responsibilities of marriage, motherhood and protecting the Nation.
Anna’s husband. A great guy that fits in well with the rest of the family. His calmness balances my sister’s insanity. He loves my little sister and for that I bless him.
My nephew and son of Anna and Wayne. He spent 3 months with Mom, Katie and me while his parents were off in Saudi Arabia for the Second Gulf War. A sweet little boy with a lot of curiosity that will drive his parents nuts.
Katie’s little sister. Graduated from Utah State and plays with horses for a living. Annie is a fun person to hang out with.
Annie’s husband. A nice guy that someday hopes to be a Rodeo Cowboy, I think… Pat is very mellow and a good compliment to Annie.
