The pressure that telecommunications companies can put on Congress is pretty amazing…

Av, a talented guy that I used to work with at EarthLink has a blog and he wrote a great post about Net Neutrality. It says what need to be said in words much more eloquent than I could put together, take a look.

I found a nice little wordpress administration plugin called WP Tiger Administration that give the wordpress administration area a very clean and easy to use look. I love the fact that it looks very Mac-like. Apple has always had the best looking UI (at least IMHO) and this plugin brings the look to wordpress.

I’ve decided to give FeedBurner a try. We’ll see how that goes.
To accomplish this I’ve installed the WordPress FeedBurner Plugin. The plugin install is easy and the plugin seems to just work. Very nice.

changed themes…

As I am prone to do, I changed my theme. I wanted something a little cleaner, a little simpler, and that worked. A moved over to K2 theme. I got it working fairly easily. The harder part was making FAlbum work with it. I managed to make it work with only a few changes.

.htaccess woes

I noticed that the version of FAlbum had been bumped to 0.6.4  So, I upgraded the plugin at the same time as I upgraded Wordpress from 2.0 to 2.0.1
When I did this, I introduced a problem with the permalink structure. The new permalink code in the .htaccess doesn’t play well with FAlbums pretty url code. […]
