I noticed tonight that when I look at my site with my google deskbar in sidebar mode, I lose my left hand side site navigation. I wonder whether I should make the site work for screens smaller than 1024×768, or whether I should leave it alone.
Thoughts? Comments?

I’ve just upgraded to WordPress 2.0 and I’ve got to say… I love the new admin section. It is totally awesome. Looks a whole lot better and I didn’t any trouble upgrading. Going to see how this runs for a bit before I make anymore comments…

I recently registered legbandt.org and I haven’t decided what to do with it. Do I move my blog to my family domain? Do I put up a private family website? Anyone have any ideas?

I got tired of the pseudo-retro look that I had going on, so I created a simpler look for the site. I’m not done yet… I’ve got some graphics to replace, and I’m sure that there are some other bugs that I’ve got to work out… but I’ll get to those.

I got flickr gallery, wordpress and the Blix theme happily coexisting and looking nice together. For the basics of how it was done check my help request: Forcing a non-page to be displayed singlecol « WordPress Support

Got adventurous and updated the colors for the theme… more to come…

I’ve decided to modify a the Blix theme by Sebastian Schmieg. Be on the lookout for some color changes and other improvements…

I’ve updated the theme with a retro feel. I think it turned out pretty decent, but I have a couple of bugs to work out:

The sidebar headers seem to move down unexpectedly in Internet Explorer 6
There is a bit of white space below the footer in IE6 that I was able to get rid […]

The sidebar (that area on the right of all the stories) now sports a nifty random image from the photo section. The image changes at every page load.

I’ve migrated everything over to my new theme. The photo galleries have been unified and have a look consistent with the rest of the site.
I’ve also been adding new images to the galleries… something I’ve been meaning to do for quite some time.
