Ok, so you want to know why the domain is redkanga.com? OK, I’ll tell you, but you still won’t understand (or you may think I’m crazy)…
Well, you see there’s this movie, called Welcome to Woop Woop, that is set in the middle of nowhere (or the Australian Outback, memory escapes me). In the movie, a slick pretty boy hustler (no, not pimp) gets shanghai’d into a marriage to a very rural girl in a town that is run by a meglomaniac. Anyhow, he realizes he is screwed and tries to figure a way to escape.
Oh, yeah, you wanted to know about the redkanga (or rather Red Kanga, as in kangaroo)!!! Well, there is a legend that is kinda retold about a Giant Red Kangaroo that steals children in the middle of the night. There is a Giant Red Kangaroo in the movie that saves our hero, known as Sepo (short for septic tank, an endearing term for us Americans) or Teddy O, from the evil Mayor also known as Daddy O to everyone in town.
Anyways, I was looking for a domain name, and I thought this one would be kinda funny. Instead everyone just thinks that I’m insane (which I very well may be).
